Tales from the Country Matchmaker is also Patricia Warren's autobiography and an amusing picture of life on the farm and country life. This book was Book of the Week on Radio 4 in the summer of 2005.

A Hard Day's Work, continues the theme of the first; more tales of love and romance in a country setting but begins at midnight on the Millennium Eve and continues through two years of matchmaking where that elusive prize of true love is constantly sought. Combined with a story of her farming family with it’s ups an down’s including the desperate times of foot and mouth resulting in monumental decisions.
Patricia’s tales of rural love are a delight and proof that although the road can be rocky, it often leads to true love.
